"Great local ski resort with reasonable prices. Plenty of parking near the main lodge. Equipment rental is well-organized and flows smoothly. Burgers and fries are great don't miss the homemade brownies and huge homemade chocolate chip cookies. What we really liked the most was the ample window seating throughout the lodge with a beautiful views of ski runs. Also very nice.. the huge fireplaces all over the place to warm up. They also have a great bar at the very..."

"Great place for beginners. They have rentals streamlined. Cafeteria type food and a small pub but I didn't check that out. We went right at open on a Saturday and it was perfect. It was getting a little busier by lunchtime but still minimun to no lines for the lifts."

"Absolutely fantastic runs for southern Michigan. If you want a variety of challenges or types of runs, this is the place to be. I was worried after coming back from out West that I would be disappointed with anything here in Michigan, and Alpine Valley surpassed my expectations. I will say that the facilities indoors could use some upgrades, but that's low on my priority list when coming to get some decent board time in. Prices are pretty reasonable in..."

"As the non skier in the family I have become the table holder, lunch prepper, lodge relaxer. I can’t tell you about the hills and run but I can tell you how nice a lodge is. This was my first time to this facility. What I liked was there were so many rooms with tables for families to be! 3 large rooms, each room had a fireplace, for retro 60’s vibe, I loved it! And you could bring food in..."

"Good considering its location. On 2-1-26, there's tons of snow. Groomed pretty well. Didn't hit any ice. Avg price. Flattest of the metro 4 hills. Quite empty for a Sunday. 1 lift closed and still no lines."

"First time taking my kids to Alpine and it was such a great day! I fell on a blue hill and had a hard time getting up and ski patrol was there right away to help me. The workers managing the lifts were great at slowing down for my kiddos who were getting the hang of it. My son loved the freestyle run! He won’t stop talking about it. There were two teenagers who complimented him on his “jumps” and..."
